Youth CareerQuest brings 8th-grade students from across New Braunfels and Comal County together for a hands-on look at the career opportunities available right here in their own community. Local businesses and employers host interactive booths, including live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and real conversations, that connect students directly to the career paths taught in local high school programs of study, trade schools, and universities.

This isn’t a lecture-hall event. It’s a trade-show-style expo, and students move booth to booth at their own pace, so every exhibitor gets real, one-on-one time to spark curiosity about their industry.

What Students Will Experience

Hands-On Demos

Real tools and activities tied to the industry.

Ties to Local Programs

Every booth connects to a program of study.

Face Time With Employers

Real conversations with the people who do the job.

A Vision for the Future

A concrete sense of what’s possible for them.

Industries & Career Pathways

Any career with a corresponding high school program of study has a place at CareerQuest. Past and welcomed industries include:

Electrical & Utilities	Plumbing & Trades
Automotive Technology	Advanced Manufacturing
City & Public Service	Culinary Arts
Hospitality & Tourism	Healthcare

Don’t see your industry? If there’s a matching program of study at a local high school or trade school, there’s a place for you at CareerQuest.

Why Exhibit at CareerQuest?

Shape the Workforce Introduce your industry to students before they choose a career path.	Build Your Pipeline Get ahead on future hiring by getting known in local schools early.
Showcase Your Brand Stand out in the community as an employer investing in its future.

What we ask of exhibitors: bring one hands-on activity or demonstration that gives students a real feel for your industry and connects to a program of study at a local high school or trade school. No sales pitches or static handout tables, just an engaging, interactive experience.
