Central Texas Foster Care Simulation

About the event--Big Country CASA developed this foster care simulation curriculum in 2020. CASA of Central Texas, Gruene United Methodist Church, and SJRC Texas Belong are bringing it to Central Texas to provide a realistic, interactive experience of a “month” in foster care. Join us for this unique event where you will either play the role of a child in foster care, a biological parent, a foster parent, a CASA volunteer, or a caseworker and experience a simulation of what 4 weeks in Foster Care can entail. This FREE event will be held on 7/22/26 from 9am-1pm at Gruene United Methodist Church (2629 E Common St, New Braunfels, TX). A light breakfast and lunch will be provided for attendees. Space is limited to 85 spots, and this registration MUST be completed by July 8, 2026 in order to attend!
