Volunteers are the heartbeat of Youth CareerQuest. On November 3, 2026, we are welcoming 1,500 eighth graders from across New Braunfels and Comal County for a hands on look at the careers waiting for them right here in their own community. It cannot happen without people like you.

We need help with expo hall set up starting at 6:00 AM, guiding students safely between event areas throughout the day, and expo hall teardown in the afternoon. Whether you can give one shift or several, your time makes a real difference for these students and for the future workforce of our community.

Already have a booth at CareerQuest? Bring your team. It is a great way to get more of your staff involved and give students even more faces to connect with.

Why Volunteer?

Make a Real Impact Help 1,500 local students discover the career paths available right here in New Braunfels and Comal County.	Pick Your Shift Choose one or more two hour blocks between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM, from set up to teardown.
Be Part of the Community Work alongside local employers, educators, and fellow volunteers for a day that shapes the future workforce of our community.

Volunteer Shifts

Expo Hall Set Up 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM Limit: 20. Help prepare the expo hall, pipe and drape, etc.	General Volunteer 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Limit: 20. Event volunteer, help students navigate Expo Hall and outdoor displays, etc.
General Volunteer 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Limit: 20. Event volunteer, help students navigate Expo Hall and outdoor displays, etc.	Expo Hall Tear Down 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Limit: 20. Help tear down/disassemble and clean Expo Hall.
